SSI currently provides strategic support to clients within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in assessing and mitigating risk to critical infrastructure in the United States.

• In 2007 DHS' Office of Infrastructure Protection/Infrastructure Security Compliance Division (OIP/ISCD) selected SSI to support their implementation of the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS).

• In 2008,  2011 and again in 2016, DHS' Transportation Security Administration/Office of Transportation Sector Network Management (TSNM) selected SSI to support their on-site security inspections of critical pipeline facilities in the United States.

• In 2017 DHS' Transportation Security Administration/Office of Transportation Sector Network Management (TSNM) selected SSI to support their corporate security program of the nation's top 100 critical pipeline systems.

 As a prime contractor to DHS on these multi-year contracts, SSI has a keen understanding of the importance of being responsive to our DHS program managers and providing a consistently superior product to support the homeland security mission. 

 Partnerships with Prime Contractors: As a GSA Multiple Award schedule holder with small business designation, SSI welcomes opportunities to engage prime contractors to explore mutually attractive opportunities to serve government clients.  As a partner or subcontractor, SSI offers an elite staff of professionals with a wide range of experience serving U.S. Government clients.
